The opening launch of Unfolding, an enthralling abstract expressionism solo exhibition by Malaysia-based Belgian artist Jean-Francois Jadin at Sutra Gallery on Saturday 4 May, was a grand affair.
Hosted by Sutra Foundation and curated by the seasoned artist Sivarajah Natarajan, the event unfolded as a celebration of artistic exploration and creative dialogue.
The evening started with a mesmerising bharatanatyam performance by Sutra dancers.
Guest of Honour, Dr Apurva Sanghi, World Bank leading economist, gave a witty and insightful reflection on the intersection of art and socio-economic development.

Unfolding, exhibition of paintings by artist Jean-Francois is an exploration of the boundless human spirit and the depth of emotions conveyed through striking knife strokes and captivating colour palettes. The exhibition showcases the artistโs mastery in harnessing spontaneity and raw emotions to create artworks that transcend traditional boundaries.
The launch of ‘Unfolding’, Jean-Francois Jadin’s third solo exhibition, was a captivating convergence of artistry and culture.
