What happens when Malaysiaโs diverse dance traditions meetโnot to become the same, but to reveal the beauty they share?
GENGGAMAN brings together Sutra Foundation, Dua Space Dance Theatre and DiDance in a collaborative production celebrating Malaysiaโs rich cultural heritage.
Jointly choreographed by Datuk Ramli Ibrahim, Anthony Meh, Aman Yap and Zaridah Abdul Mallik, the production features some of Malaysiaโs finest dancers in a dynamic encounter between tradition and contemporary interpretation.
Each dance tradition retains its distinctive identity and authenticity while entering into new artistic dialogue. Through movement, rhythm and shared experience, diversity becomes a source of connection, understanding and pride.
