Dear Friends,
S Magendran, born in Pahang, is a full-time photographer and passionate about photography since he took it up in 2007.
His first solo photography exhibition Sublime Angkor (2012) at Sutra Gallery captured Sutra dancers at the Bayon Temple (Angkor, Cambodia). Such was the success of this exhibition that S Magendran decided to delve into professional photography and this has paid off well.
S Magendran has been working with Sutra Foundation since 2010 has participated in many solo and group exhibitions. He has been a significant collaborator with numerous productions, documenting and at the same time specialising in dance photography.Join us for his next solo exhibition on our recent production, Malam Bulan di Pagar Bintang!
