Friends,
Pritam Das performed his second and last performance of Anuragavali at Amphi-Sutra on 9th Aug, to an appreciative audience which included HE Shri Hitesh Rajpal, The Charge d’Affaires of High Commission of India, and HH Swami Brahmananda Saraswathi of Dhyana Ashram (Kulim). There were also many other esteemed dance gurus of KL in the audience.
Once again, Pritam was able to stir the emotions and inspire his audience with his impressive command of nritta technique and simultaneously communicating the difference nuances of longing and passion in the various manifestations of love.
On the second day, Pritam performed two different abhinaya works, one depicting Ravana, the much maligned King of Lanka, remorseful of his abduction of Sita; the other work being a well known Odia abhinaya of medieval poet, Banamali Das, on Krishna.
Pritam Das will also be taking several workshops at Sutra as well as Temple of Fines Arts (TFA), Kuala Lumpur and, indeed, we wish him the best in his future endeavours of expanding his performance experience and sharing his art all over the world.
