Sutra dancers rose to the occasion and took the premiere performance of Radhe! Radhe! 2.0 to its highest level of artistry.
The first of the 3-day performance was successfully staged last night at the Shantanand Auditorium, TFA, 10 April, 2026.
The opening performance was sponsored by Global Exec & attended by its Group CEOs, Mr Al Nathan & Director, Mr Rao Abdullah.
The performance will then take on another 5 cities, Seremban (2/5), Klang (9/5), Melaka (23/5), Kulim (20/6) & Johor Bahru
(27/6)
Friends of Sutra came in full force to support, led by the glowing Chef Jessie Nathan in a bright orange/red sari.
Guest of Honour, HE Shri BN Reddy, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia gave a rousing speech, complimenting the vibrant Indian dance scene in Malaysia. Also present was the newly appointed French Ambassador, HE Mr Mark Asensour who mentioned that he was ‘hypnotised’ by the performance.
Against the compelling curated Patachitra backdrop of artist Bibhu Patnaik, and the superb lighting of Sivarajah Natarajan, the production achieved an epiphany of seamless episodic visual treat, moving from one scene and dance item to another.
The excellent photography of S Magendran is immortalised in an excellent souvenir program book where he captured the poignancy of Radha’s longing for Krishna. Some of his excellent works were exhibited at the foyer.
